Yahoo Updates Konfabulator

I am posting this simply because I love the word "Konfabulator".
"InformationWeek is reporting that Yahoo! has released a new version of Konfabulator, now rechristened 'Yahoo Widget Engine'. From the article: 'Widgets are useful to portals because they can draw users to their services directly from the desktop, without first having to launch a browser. By providing a more direct route, portals are trying to increase the use of their services, which are tied to online advertising. Yahoo rival search engine Google Inc. also offers widgets.'"

Analysts React to EA/Jamdat Deal

Analysts React to EA/Jamdat Deal: "Analysts have displayed mixed reactions to the news of Electronic Arts' $680 million acquisition of Jamdat mobile, announced yesterday after market close. The general consensus seems to be that while the acquisition makes EA a powerful player in the burgeoning mobile market, the price the company paid for that instant growth seems almost puzzlingly high."[via: Gamedaily.biz]

My first Podcast

"
Well what do you know; my first podcast is officially live. Am I not the portrait of modern media effectiveness? OK, so I can’t take all the glory, Miss Jinx and Miss Rhoulette joined me at the Ubisoft sound studios (Brigham’s office) for our Holiday shopping episode. This was Jinx’s bright idea, and when she told me the show needed to be 15 minutes long, I was pretty worried. How were we going to fill 15 minutes? Well my friends, weighing in at 27 minutes and some odd seconds, is proof that we really don’t have any problem rambling about our picks for your friends and lovers this year. I hope you find something interesting inside. "

Some nights, you just want to go home with the bad boys

I did not think it was possible for any XBL game to have longer loading screens when joining a new server than Brothers in Arms (and yeah I get you guys are playing the hell out of it, tho I am not sure who you are, or what you played before that), then tonight I stuck in the new console port of America's Army. This game is so damn ghetto, it is genius. I don't care what you say button.

I gotta go put some lead in some bitches.
