Alright Eddy

Ok, so I have not been blogging, but so much has been happening! I can start off with announcing that one of my first EVB projects is live and well on the web - SnoCore. We flew to Houston, hired a fantastic production company and recorded a rock concert featuring Seether, Shinedown, Flyleaf and Halestorm.

I am telling you. If you have never produced a rock music video you ain't livin, as they say in Texas. Justin, Jason, Todd, Sadie and I all had a fantastic trip. Jason drug me in the press pit for a few of the bands opening 3 songs, and it was such a rush to be leaning on the stage while the lead singer poses for us (I am in love with the lead singer from Flyleaf). I had to bribe bouncers, I was bashed by body surfers, manhandled by the bassist... everything you need for a great rock concert.

The highlight of the night was when Shindown came on. Todd and I were the team working with the video production company, and with each band, we had four cameras in set angles recording one song for a "Mix Your Own Video" app that goes live 2/10.

Shinedown's song was first.

They came out in pitch black.

For 30 seconds.

This was a nightmare. We had no idea where they were, and it had to be spot on once the lights came up. Then all the sudden, one camera on the crowd showed someone with a lighter, the lights flashed on for a beat of the music, and just like magic, everyone was perfectly in center frame. Best moment of the trip. Anyway, enough about that site, check it out yourself here along with awesome photos Jason took from the pit.

Ah! Now I see why you're rockin' not one, but two Snocore myspace profiles in your top eight.

You're such a PR machine!

Very cool.

no effin way. My bro was at that concert. And it sounds like fun ms hunter :)

I miss the days of going to the shows and walking around back stage, doing sound checks and such.

Almost always a good time. Glad you had fun! =)
