Analysts React to EA/Jamdat Deal
Analysts React to EA/Jamdat Deal: "Analysts have displayed mixed reactions to the news of Electronic Arts' $680 million acquisition of Jamdat mobile, announced yesterday after market close. The general consensus seems to be that while the acquisition makes EA a powerful player in the burgeoning mobile market, the price the company paid for that instant growth seems almost puzzlingly high."[via: Gamedaily.biz]

Jamdat bought for a ridiculous amount of money for 3$ downloadable games , mobile game startups come out of the woodwork to soak an already saturated market with yet another version of bejeweled or texass hold'em or whatever.
