Hackin up a lung.
Well whatever this thing is that as been bothering me health-wise has been hard to shake. Tonight I started coughing up blood which is never a good thing I keep saying the kids made me sick, and wait for it to pass. Keep your fingers crossed.
In the meantime I have two trips ahead!
In two hours I head to the Gamestop show where I will finally get my hands on GR3. I have no idea if it will be embargoed, but if it is not, plan on a full report. Dallas is just Valkyrie and myself, then I fly to Vegas for the EB Game show. On the 28th I am back for an Activision event for two days, then possibly a job in SoCal for the 30th and 31st, but still waiting to hear back on that one. I am thankful everytime the phone rings with a job, really I am, but it would be nice to be able to afford to turn down work and rest. Hopefully in 6 months things will be more stable, especially since the Yahoo show has another new host and that work will be reduced. Maybe our possible sponsorship with Best Buy means you will be seeing me episode 8-12 (again fingers crossed).
Anyway, that is what is going on today. I am in very good spirits, had a wonderful day at Ubisoft making a new multiplayer map for FarCry that is being released next week, had a wonderful dinner with Mr. Sutton from my GameDaily days, watched the 20th Season premier of Oprah with Mr. Andrew (totally forgot that was today, thank goodness for repeats!!), then finished work and packing. A pretty jam packed day. No wonder it is 5:30am and I am still up!
Next stop, Dallas... I don't think clicking my heals will keep me in bed this time.
Oh, I am in love with my new Treo 650 by the way. Check out these photos I took at a concert Saturday night. I had not seen a bunch of these kids since my jazz singin days. It was great to see all yalls.

you should see a doctor now. seriously. a constant hacking cough is one thing. coughing up blood is one of the worst things.
my mother died from blood poisoning caused by a flu of some kind. she neglected to go to the doctor because she "always waited for it to pass". If you value your health, go to the doctor. now!
if your insurance isn't that good, then go to sf general. they'll take good care of you.......uhm after you've waited a full day.
in your other news, the making of a multiplayer map for farcry sounds like definite fun. i assume that was for the xbox version of farcry?
i played the pc version and i gotta say that game is the only game in the last few years that's left a real impression on me. i want to make games like that. and the multiplayer maps were kick ass!

Not to scare or worry you, but I agree with RG, I order you to get to a doctor ASAP! Seriously.
In other news though, its nice to see you're doing well with life and work. Remember its better to have too many jobs, than no job at all. I'll be graduating in May and finding a job atm is looking doubtful at best.
Just remember to have fun, don't look at these opportunities as just jobs to pay the bills, but as new and exciting experiences.

Honey, sell your goddamn treo and go to a clinic/emergency room. Either that or go marry someone for their health insurance and have it annulled a week later.
Remember what happened with your foot? You let that infection fester and you ended up with a pegleg. I bet your loving audience never knew that about you.
anyways, hugs and kisses,

J my love,
But now every time I come home from work, or Ariella comes home from her Dad's house, she runs to me, jumps up aimless kiss, then asks to "see my owey". We have really bonded over my wine glass mishap. Besides, it only turns purple when it rains.
(as Prince sings in the background...)
p.s.: I have written you a dozen letters I swear. Just never send them. I have become a perfectionist in my old age.

all these people who express concern for kat and the only one she responds to is the one who makes a crack about a pegleg.
and still she doesn't relay if she went to the doc or not.
what are a bunch of fanboys to do, i ask ya?

No, I did not go to the doctor out here in Dallas, but I did drink a bottle of Dayquil yesterday wshich got me through the Halo tournament. By the way, I am now a BR convert. MLG style all the way.
Thank you for your concern everyone... I am sure I will be better soon. I have a day off in Vegas to chill in the sun.

I didn't know you used to sing Jazz Kat. I used to be the AV nerd for the Jazz choir in highschool. (did I say that out loud?) I really loved the sound of the Jazz choir, I kinda wish I was still involved in some way.
I hope you start feeling better soon, and because I like to worry about my friends, you should see a doctor. ;)

Kat,
PLEASE take care of yourself, especially while you're travelling...planes, partying, and crazy sleep schedules are not good recipes for shaking that persistent cough. A visit to a doc and possibly antibiotics are. Hopefully you can take it easy for a few days when you're back in SF....
