where is the switch?

does anyone know how to shut your head off?

I think the switch is behind the left ear. Nope, that's one of the erogenous(sp?) zones

drugs are the switch. the alternative is alcohol.

please don't abuse either.

get lost in something creative or exhausting, like running until you drop. works for me.

you can write it all down and then burn it in the fireplace.

I know what switch you speak of, however I've never been able to reach it by myself. I've always needed the aid of a friend, or a keyboard or pad of paper and pencil in order to help me reach it.

Try beer. If that doesn't work, try another one.

Tanks. You need to drive more tanks. :)

no - no switch. sucks doesn't it. I can never turn mine off.

You were once very and unexpectedly kind to me. Some day, I would like to take you out for drinks and a proper chat.

Chin up, Kat. I think you're awesome.

Skateboarding, snowboarding or riding a motorcycle works for me. But an actual full time "off" switch? If you find one, I'd sure appreciate the enlightenment. I can tell you what doesn't work, long ass road trips alone. Stay away from those.

Kat, I love your pics. They're great and I didn't know you did plays?

Yes, if you don't let me have a Red Bull every 48 hours my head shuts off. It's not a pretty sight let me tell you!

fill your head with something completely brand new, that perhaps in the past you hated...

find a correlation behind what you currently love and what you hate in whatever is brand new..so that you push yourself into learning it....perhaps shutting off the switch isnt what you need, but rather to change the bulb

or study japanese with me..i need someone to study with

Jon Kabat-Zinn's written some great books on the subject, but the process he outlines (based on insight meditation) isn't easy or fast.

Mostly, I just count my breaths, up to ten and back down again, until the baddies go back under the bed.
