Splinter Cell movie??

A while back I posted a blog about a Splinter Cell movie that was possibly in the works. The comments keep coming (80 plus) in a deep heated argument over who will play Sam Fisher in case anyone has not had their say yet ;)

I think george cloney should do it, because he can fit any caracter he likes, besides the actor and the caracter ara almoust the same age so... Any away I think that the film is going to be just perfect, it depends on what paramount decide to do with the license, but let´s see what is going to happen

I believe Eric Bana would be the best choice for Sam Fisher. He played an awsome Delta Force guy in Black Hawk Down,

I dont think they would use real actors for it but instead computer animate it. I think it would be weird to make a splinter cell movie with real people.

It's not going to come down to recognizable faces in this matter. I think it'll have more to do with what the actor in question can physically accomplish. The stuntwork will have to be straight-up fierce, with all that wall-split, wire-slide, hanging-upside-down-from-a-pole-capping-a-terrorist-in-the-cortex-from-behind stuff. You'll need someone with age, sure, but just because Clooney did superhero Batman (horrendously) doesn't make him the optimal choice for stealth hero Sam Fisher. Pitt...no. Depp...yeah, you're smoking frickin' crystal meth. They'd need an actor who pulls off gruff, not suave. This is not James Bond, where you see Bond makes some corny one-liner after shooting a guy in the foot with a loud-assed gun, causing him to fall backwards into a den of golden carniverous animals which proceed to dramatically tear him to pieces off-camera. This is Splinter Cell, where the next-to-last thing that goes through a henchman's mind is how come that bit of darkness in the room seems like it's moving. Then the bullet meets brain. Silently.

No cheesy quips, just Sam dragging the body to the deep shadows before rigor mortis sets in. Now that's badass.

the guy who does the splnter cell voice would be the best, he actually looks like a good sam fisher... minus the hair... nothing a good toupe wont fix. I also think they should use the same voices for lambert, grimsdotter, etc. Im sure they will anyways.

I think that Michael Ironside should be the voice, and do kind of like a voice-over over another character, real, or animated.

they should use aleck baldwin he plase jane on fire fly. the real bad ass guy who likes to shine his guns and hurt people kinda like sam fisher and he has the same build not to big but he looks like he dose two hundred push ups a day.

Sam Fisher should deffinitly be played by either Bruce Willis of Tom Berenger. If u dont know who Tom Berenger is hes in "Platoon" with Charlie Sheen and Willem Dafoe. He is also the star of the Sniper movies. Bruce Willis would be my top candidate along with Tom Berenger because Bruce has an uncanny resemblance to Fisher. All he needs is a little hair(hes bald after all) and some 5 oclock shadow and buffness. If any dumbass says that Brad Pitt should play Sam Fisher they are the dumbest person on the planet because Pitt may be 40 but he doesnt look fourty. Anyways in Chaos Theory Fisher is actually 50 years old, weird huh? I guess he works out a lot. So either Tom Berenger or Bruce Willis

its gona be hard to find the right guy for this role. u need sum1 wid personality, who can deliver the arrogance of sam, but also b a convincing actor. and also b in gd shape. and havethe right kind of "hard-man" voice. gd luck :-S

satham, willis, clooney r all good prospects for the role....so would clint eastwood if he is up for it....in truth these actors are all cost alot except maybe satham...so alot depends on the budjet....so there is a good chance it will be a no name.
