Next Gen Games: $59.99

"I was browsing around on the EB Games website, when I noticed they had listings for PS3 games as well as XBox 360 games. All the games are listed at a $59.99 price point. EB does have a disclaimer saying that price and release date may change though."

I better start putting an application for a second job to buy the next gen games. I'm afraid of the cost of games on the next twenty years.

My guess is this will happen until software sales recoup the loss leader status set by the hardware manufactures. Hope you had a great E3, let me know if you will ever be returning to Vancouver.

Hmmm... I don't think all of the new games will be at that price point. But I do feel that ones that took longer to develop, and that took more system rescources will end up costing more.

Sorry to switch gears somewhat, but I've realized only recently that someone who's a frequent visitor here has listed crotchviolence.org as their homepage on their Ubisoft/Fragdolls forum profile. I'm flattered, yes, but I've been slightly curious as to why.

Shedding light on the situation would be most appreciated.

Oh, and expensive game prices suck, but do you remember when Nintendo cartridges were 75 bucks a pop? Oh, and let's not forget the fact that $60 is the approximate standard price for new console software in Japan.

Huang sensei, I thought the website was funny and Bruce Lee is one of my idols. I fell on the floor laughing when I first saw the website.

And now I know.

And knowing is half the battle.

Yo Joe!!! Gi Joe!!
