Shame on the French

I have been in LA visiting friends after an interesting Microsoft event, and taking a break from blogging, but I must break my silence to say, "shame on the French". Whoever was responsible for the Halo 2 leak should be turned over and spanked soundly. No, that would be too nice. He would like that. He should be locked in a room with W until November 09.
Do gamers not have anything better to do? Have you no self respect? Don't you know how much work Bungie put until keeping Halo 2 silent for 3 YEARS? And now this, on the eve of the greatest gaming month of all times. I am shocked, and saddened.

On another note, there is now an NPC in Matrix Online named "Katscratch" - how cool is that, eh? Now see, that is a perfect example of a gamer using his time for something worth while.

Hey Kat, the leaked PAL version's captions are English, French, German and whatnot - and who says it's the French who leaked it? What about a guy in the production plant that earned himself some dollars doing that and being able to blame the Europeans? Hey, it's election time, don't forget. ;)

nah..don't blame the French..that is just not right..blame the hackers and crackers, regardless of nationality. blame the kiddies who have nothing better to do. Blame the kids who snagged the half life 2 code. The french factor is just incidental. to blame the French is just not right. after all, I do believe a french company is shipping over 2 million flu vaccinations to make up for our shortage.

Yeah it sucks and we were pretty bummed out about it for a few days, but many of the big sites out there have been awesome about restricting people from posting spoilers...which is what we were most worried about anyway.
