For you who have been here

For anyone who has stuck around past my "glorified story telling days" to stick it out through the current "omg she only talked about fucking games" days...
I wanted to say a very special goodbye to someone I love.

Jonas has decided to shake up life once again in his classic style and move to NYC. He stayed over last night before his flight, and there was this genius moment when he was looking for his keys as he got into his cab. I looked at him and said "you have no keys in your life right now". No house, no motorcycle, no office... No keys.

I can't imagine my life here without him. He was my left arm. You know the friend who can get along without if you really have to, but really sucks to try.

Sitting here tonight after he left, noticeably alone, I found myself thinking about my life and what it means to be a 30-year-old video game player who needs reading glasses to play Socom, but in the end, I had to shut up my indulgent pity party and face reality. Somehow, over the last 2 years, I lucked the fuck out and found a soul mate in a friend here in this city. How many people have been that fortunate?

Life really is pretty damn good when you are lucky enough to have Jonas as a best friend.

Dear God... if I die before I wake, please tell him how much I will miss him...
oh, and that I don't appreciate him leaving his dirty boxers in my living room.

Thanks - kat

To my defense, everything I left behind was "important": my keys, my eye-bleedingly expensive watch, and my dirty, leopard boxershorts.

San Francisco's loss is New York's gain -- welcome to the East Coast Jonas!

Ohio is nice too u know :)

Where's Ohio?

Isn't that one of those states who swings both ways? I mean, swing states?
