beams and beams

I could not possibly be more proud of being a "Frag Doll" than I was this weekend. My girls owned the entire Black Arrow competition without losing a single round. We had to schedule follow up challenges to find teams to compete with the FD ladies, and still left PAX nearly undefeated (note: in 2 days of playing, I think they did indeed loose 4 rounds total; they rock so hard you can't even sing to their tune). Pictures soon -- goodness knows there were tons of photos to document the entire event.

I love you ladies; I have never been witness to female gamers representing so soundly, though they do every day. If anyone still believes we were indeed born to clean the floors, this weekend you certainly lived up to those expectations.

Your girls were incredible, I went to PAX and at first I thought they were just there to show off the games, but then I saw them taking on players and saw them kicking major butt and I was thinking "wow now thats an awsome girl, one that can kick my arse in an FPS. I wish I knew some girls that could kick my butt at FPS games that would be awsome." It was an experence that I will never forget.

Yee-ha! Way to own everyone!

Damn,

That's mind blowing. Nice work. I thought for sure you would get your asses handed to you. But the Frag Dolls proved that testosterone doesn't a better gamer make.

You know, when I was in the service, the scuttlebutt was that women consistently scored better on the firing range than their male counterparts.

Hell, they've proven themselves in the classroom, proven themselves in the boardroom, proven themselves on the firing range, and now proven themselves in the game arena, the last vestige of male domination

............wait..........

no, no it's alright. I'm alright. I'll get over it. I just need a tissue. :)

You know if it hadn't been for christianity and catholicism, this might still be a matriarchal world we lived in. But that's another story entirely.

Is Frag Dolls a sponsored team?

Hey... Great job girls, after the intial tourney confusion was worked out it went very smooth. I would also like to say that I would love to play the frag dolls again some day on a game Ive semi-played before. We got schooled in the final round good. Go being lost! Anyways kick ass and take some more names, Im sure you'll have a phonebook the size of the yellow pages in about 2 more weeks at that rate. Good luck on the new site here in a few days... Thanks for a great tourney!

Woot. Etc.

i know! How cool is it to be on the Bungie site. I fell in love with Halo 2, but that is for another post.

hey Kat, i was hoping to catch you again before the dash to the airport. how'd that go by the way? did your driver get any speeding tickets to make sure you two dolls got there on time? <g>

if you (and your readers) were curious about the happenings after halo2 play, i'll summarize quickly. hours of pong (round 6 of the omegathon), a wedding proposal, and console free play was cancelled due to "missing inventory".

i'm glad i made it to pax.. it was/is a pleasure talking with you. take care.

Someone proposed to someone else at PAX?

Wow, you think they would've waited for E3. :)

Kat, I love you and all our girls, too! We did incredibly well for our debut; it's a great indicator of things to come.

Hey Kat.

Great meeting you at PAX.

Let's hop on LIVE sometime and storm those woods. ;)

Peace.
