State of Kat's Gaming

I am on a complete night owl schedule.
I stay awake until 6am when I help out with my roommates baby, then I sleep until 2pm when she comes back home. We spend 2-6pm together, then 6pm until dark is nap time, or social time, then as soon as the sun goes down, I begin my work.

Today I bought a copy of Rainbow Six 3 for XBox for a competition this weekend. I have never touched the RS series before, and FPSers are the last thing I want to play these days, so I am pretty sure I will end up making a nice impression there.

After 4 people in one week mentioned Animal Crossing, I went out and bought a copy, and am addicted. I am so pissed I can't sell my stuff until 9am! What a crock. Does anyone here in SF have a town on memory card they would like to swap?

I think I still have my town on a memory card. My place is a friggin' mess though. It must be full of roaches by now, too. But it does have some NES games.

Also, stop playing so many games and get some sleep!

I'd offer to help with Rainbow Six 3, but I'm out of town starting tomorrow. Maybe later tonight...?

In Animal Crossing you can change the clock via the startup menu. It's not cheating, it's by design! Or if you don't like that, set the clock so it's offset and it's 9am in gametime when you're up late at night making soap, Tyler.

heh, animal crossing. my town is probably a nuclear waste disposal facility by now. i was deeply into it ... nearly 2 years ago. i haven't touched my town since november 2002. eep.

as for R6-3, i don't really get the appeal of that sort of thing. in fact, it really goes against the grain of my personality. i can play FPSes, but i prefer something like halo; something fantastical. i can't deal with real-army trappings, it totally turns me off.

If you really want to sell the stuff at 3AM, just change the GameCube's clock. It's like messing with time travel without the worries of dimensional splitting.

try "cheating" in AC...that mole character is a hoot.

I lost my entire day, I will never get it back again.
